Hello and thanks for hopping to my blog. Today is the final day of this holiday-project filled hop.  I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have.  My project is a Mini Christmas tree.  I love trees of all sizes and love that small trees are easily found at so many stores these days.  I wanted a bit of decoration in my studio and this size Christmas tree is perfect!  So here is my...

Recipe for a Simple Sweet Little  Button and Bows Christmas Tree.

Ingredients: mini Christmas tree, colorful buttons, thin May Arts Ribbons!

Step 1. Fluff your tree while listening to Christmas carols!
Step 2. Thread button with ribbon and tie on to tree.  Add 2 ribbons together if you wish.
Step 3. Repeat step 2 over and over again, filling your tree with buttons and bows!
Step 4. Create a tree topper by tying buttons in a cluster at the top of the tree.
Step 5. Sit back, smile and enjoy your sweet little tree!

May Arts Trees

Thank you for stopping by my blog! Tis the season for trees. Trees and ribbon that is!  The two make a perfect pairing this time of year.  Lucky me, I had the opportunity to decorate quite a few trees this holiday.  The first tree was for our town’s festival of trees.  My sister needed a little help decorating a CHICAGO CUBS themed tree.  She had the ornaments, cracker jack and baseball cards, and asked me for assistance with the ribbon.  So I showed up and added LOTS of May Arts ribbon. The 380-15-14 ribbon is perfect for any baseball themed tree, weather you are a cubs fan or not!

This year I have 2 trees in my home.  I have a pencil tree in my living room decorated in burgundy and gold.  When planning this tree I knew that 428-15-25 the satin reversible metallic would be the perfect ribbon for my tree. One side is gold, the other burgundy it looks fabulous on the tree…as well as the presents!  I decided to tie up my presents with the same ribbon I used on the tree.

My third tree, located in the basement family room,  is my FUN tree all decked out in lime and black and red.  The diamond ribbon 341-10 is predominant, however if you look closely you will find about 10 different May Arts ribbons on this tree!  I was beyond thrilled to find wrapping paper that matched my ribbon, how cool is that!?! I am into coordination of the tree and presents this year!
